Scope & Purpose :

The Product Head - VES is responsible for leading the development and management of a comprehensive portfolio of advanced vehicle electronic solutions, including High-Performance Computing Components (HPC-C), Augmented Reality Heads-Up Displays (AR-HUD), Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE), Streaming Devices, Microphones (MIC), USB Docks, Antennae, Virtual Reality (VR) products, Navigation Systems, Android Auto (AA), Apple CarPlay (CP) and Standalone Infotainment.

This role ensures seamless product development and delivery by aligning technology roadmaps, certifications, risk management and stakeholder collaboration with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning and Product Roadmap :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the portfolio of HPC-C, AR-HUD, RSE, Streaming Devices, MIC, USB Docks, Antennae, VR, Navigation Systems, AA, CP and Standalone Infotainment, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and evolving market demands.

- Prepare detailed technology roadmaps for these products, monitoring adherence to timelines, key milestones and quality standards.

Product Development and Delivery :

- Lead the end-to-end product development for HPC-C, AR-HUD, RSE, Streaming Devices, MIC, USB Docks, Antennae, VR, Navigation Systems, AA, CP and Standalone Infotainment, ensuring seamless execution and management.

- Oversee the software development and delivery to achieve 100% feature completion and certification readiness for critical products like HPC-C, AR-HUD, USB Docks and Antennae before SoP (Start of Production).

- Ensure hardware certifications for platforms like Android Auto (AA), Apple CarPlay (CP) and Alexa across all programs in the portfolio, meeting global platform and regulatory requirements.

Risk Identification and Mitigation :

- Identify risks across the product lifecycle for HPC-C, AR-HUD, USB Docks, Antennae and other products and implement action plans for mitigation to ensure smooth project execution.

- Anticipate challenges related to the integration and deployment of portfolio products and develop strategic solutions to address and minimize these risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Represent and integrate the HPC-C and other portfolio products into various vehicle platforms by actively engaging with cross-functional teams.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful launch and delivery of the HPC-C, AR-HUD, RSE, and other portfolio components.

Technical Competencies :

- Deep knowledge of products including HPC-C, AR-HUD, RSE, Streaming Devices, MIC, USB Docks, Antennae, VR, Navigation, AA, CP and BYOD.

- Proficiency in hardware certifications (e.g., Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Alexa) and software development & validation.

- Expertise in managing product lifecycles, ensuring feature completion and certification readiness by SoP.

- Skilled in maintaining uptime, operational efficiency and resolving system performance issues.

- Experience with identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

- Strong understanding of AR/VR, connectivity solutions and multimedia systems in the automotive ecosystem.

- 20+ years of relevant leadership experience in the Cockpit and Infotainment domain, with special emphasis on software development and validation.
