Product Analyst

Experience : 2-5 years

Location : Mumbai

Key Deliverables :

Website Enhancements & Updates :


- Assist with planning and executing website feature updates and improvements.

- Collaborate on content alignment with brand and marketing strategies.

Backlog & User Stories :


- Create, prioritize, and maintain user stories for website features and IT operations.

- Support sprint planning and delivery cycles with the Product Manager.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :


- Work with development, marketing, design, and IT teams to deliver website and IT projects.

- Coordinate with the IT team for website uptime, security, and performance.

Data Analytics & Insights :


- Track and analyze website performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversions).

- Assist in A/B testing and provide recommendations based on data.

IT Operations Support :


- Monitor website IT infrastructure (e.g., hosting, security updates, server performance).

- Address minor IT issues related to the website's performance.

Quality Assurance & Testing :


- Ensure website features are tested, meet functional requirements, and are free of bugs.


- Participate in UAT and bug resolution.

Documentation & Reporting :


- Maintain clear documentation for product specifications, progress, and releases.

- Report project status and metrics to stakeholders.

Key Competencies :

Product Management :


- Understanding of product lifecycle, from ideation to release.

- Prioritization and backlog management skills.

Technical Awareness :


- Basic knowledge of web development, hosting, and IT systems.

- Familiarity with website management platforms (CMS like Shopify, WordPress, etc.).

Data Analysis & Reporting :


- Ability to interpret website analytics and user data for decision-making.

- Understanding of A/B testing and performance metrics.

Collaboration & Communication :


- Strong communication with cross-functional teams (dev, marketing, IT).

- Ability to translate business needs into technical tasks and user stories.

Agile Methodology :


- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices (sprints, stand-ups, backlog grooming).

- Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail

- Ability to spot issues and propose solutions for website or IT-related challenges.

- Strong attention to detail in delivering high-quality products.

User-Centric Focus :


- Empathy for the user experience and how it impacts business goals.

IT & Development Tools :


- Experience with CMS platforms, primarily Shopify.

- Proficient in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM).


- Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Webengage and Moengage.

- Skilled in A/B testing platforms including Optimizely, Google Optimize, and similar tools.

- Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.

- Experience with heatmap and UX tools like Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity.

- Basic understanding of website development to effectively communicate with the development team.

- Fundamental knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
