Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and microservices-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

- Configure and manage GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery

- Implement and manage containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE)

- Ensure system reliability through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using YAML, Bash, Python, or PowerShell

- Enforce best practices related to cloud security, IAM, secrets management, scalability, and high availability

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to streamline deployment and release processes

- Support production deployments, manage incidents, and drive root cause analysis and remediation

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams

- Independently manage DevOps deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality releases

Mandatory Skills :

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

- CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps

- Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)

- GCP IAM, networking, and security fundamentals

- Monitoring and logging using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging

- YAML-based pipelines and automation scripting

- Git-based version control and branching strategies

Good to Have Skills :

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, Azure DevOps, Key Vault, Azure Monitor)

- Exposure to AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)

- Experience supporting multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments

- Understanding of microservices and distributed system architecture

- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security scanning tools

- Exposure to cloud cost optimization (FinOps)

- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA skills

Candidate Profile :

- Strong hands-on DevOps experience with cloud-native platforms

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of DevOps initiatives

- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
