Role Overview :

The QA Engineer is a crucial quality assurance role requiring 4+ years of relevant experience to support the development of best-in-class Natural Language Processing (NLP) software and middleware application platforms for language localization.

Based in Gurugram, Haryana, this role is essential for a B2B and SaaS-based company poised for major growth, focusing on API and GUI automation within a complex technology stack.

The incumbent will be responsible for meticulous testing, automation scripting, and comprehensive documentation to ensure the quality and scalability of AI/ML-driven language solutions for enterprise and global users.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated QA professional with 4+ years of experience in API, Website, and Mobile App testing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in automation testing for both API (using Postman or similar tools) and GUI. This role requires strong knowledge of data formats (JSON/XML), experience with Windows/IIS/SQL Server environments, and effective use of bug reporting tools like Jira to ensure high standards of quality for our multilingual transformation platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Quality Assurance Deliverables :

- API Testing and Automation : Design, develop, and execute automated API test suites using Postman (or equivalent tools) to validate the functionality, performance, and security of middleware platform APIs.

- GUI and Functional Testing : Perform and automate GUI testing for websites, mobile applications, and digital transaction journeys to ensure flawless multilingual rendering and user experience across various platforms.

- Test Case Management : Responsible for comprehensive Test case documentation in Excel (or Test Management tools), covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing scenarios.

- Defect Management : Manage the entire defect lifecycle, including timely logging, detailed reproduction steps, tracking, and verification of bug fixes using standard tools like freedcamp/Jira/redmine or other bug reporting tools.

- Technology Stack Validation : Apply fundamental Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JSON/XML/ JS formats to inspect payloads, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot rendering issues.

- Environment Setup and Testing : Execute and validate tests on the core platform environment, demonstrating Experience on Windows with IIS (Internet Information Services) and SQL server.

- Collaboration and Documentation : Utilize Good communication skills and documentation skills to report findings, share knowledge, and collaborate effectively with development and product teams.

- Continuous Learning : Demonstrate Zeal to learn and open to challenges inherent in testing cutting-edge AI/ML-based NLP software for Indian and global languages.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

Education : B.Tech/MCA.

Experience : 4+ years of relevant experience in API, Website, or Mobile App Testing.

API Testing : Strong hands-on experience in API testing with Postman (or similar tools) and implementation of automation for these tests.

GUI Testing : Proven experience with GUI testing and related automation frameworks/tools.

Documentation & Management : Experience in preparing test cases and Reporting Bugs.

Tools : Familiar with multiple QA-related tools JIRA (or similar defect management systems).

Technical Knowledge : Working Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JSON/XML/Javascript formats.

Environment : Experience testing applications deployed on Windows with IIS and integrated with SQL server.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience testing complex SaaS platforms or B2B middleware applications.

- Familiarity with concepts related to Natural Language Processing (NLP) or AI/ML application testing.

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for enhanced automation beyond tool recordings.

- Demonstrated Ability to work in a competitive environment with good attitude and skills.
