Position Overview :

Process9 is looking for a .NET Core Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, REST APIs, custom middleware, MVC architecture, database design, and secure API development.

The role requires strong backend fundamentals and the ability to independently develop, troubleshoot, and optimize production applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using C# and .NET Core 8.x+.

- Develop scalable and secure RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.

- Design and implement custom middleware and work effectively with the ASP.NET Core request pipeline.

- Apply MVC architecture and develop applications using Razor Pages where required.

- Design, document, and maintain APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Implement JWT-based authentication and authorization.

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, indexes, stored procedures, and data-access solutions.

- Work with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.

- Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code following OOP and SOLID principles.

- Write and maintain unit tests using xUnit and/or MSTest.

- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Backend: C#, .NET Core 8.x+, ASP.NET Core Web API, REST APIs, Custom Middleware, ASP.NET Core Request Pipeline, MVC Architecture, Razor Pages, Swagger/OpenAPI, Dependency Injection, LINQ, OOP, SOLID, Async/Await

- Database: MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB; database/schema design; query optimization; stored procedures and indexing

- Security: JWT Authentication, Authorization / RBAC

- Frontend / UI: jQuery, Bootstrap

- Testing: Unit Testing, xUnit and/or MSTest, mocking

- Version Control: Git

Good to Have:

- Entity Framework Core / Dapper, Microservices, Clean Architecture, CQRS, Redis, RabbitMQ / Kafka, Docker, Azure or AWS, CI/CD, Angular or React

Candidate Profile:

- Strong hands-on backend development experience.

- Strong understanding of the ASP.NET Core request pipeline and middleware.

- Able to independently design and develop APIs and backend modules.

- Strong C# and .NET Core fundamentals.

- Strong database design and optimization skills.

- Experience with secure, testable, maintainable production applications.

- Strong troubleshooting and collaborative Agile delivery skills.
