Job Summary :
As an Integration Architect, you will play a key role in establishing integration architecture best practices, mentoring engineering teams, and delivering secure and robust integration solutions. This is a high-impact role critical to the success of a large-scale digital transformation initiative.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and implement modern integration patterns, protocols (REST, SOAP), and event-driven architectures.
- Design integration contracts and manage exception handling mechanisms for reliable communication between Oracle and SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, governance, compliance, and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and stakeholders to align architectural designs with business objectives.
- Work closely with SAP and Oracle teams to define integration touchpoints, schemas, data flows, and security models.
- Facilitate architecture review meetings and technical workshops with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers and developers.
- Oversee API lifecycle management using Azure API Management, including versioning,
throttling, and access control policies.
- Define API standards, design guidelines, and enforce API governance processes.
- Guide the engineering team throughout the development lifecycle.
- Review code, integration artifacts, and documentation to ensure alignment with architecture
and design principles.
- Support developers in troubleshooting issues and provide best-practice guidance.
- Enforce Azure security best practices such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and
identity management.
- Ensure integrations are compliant with internal and external regulatory standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Hands-on expertise in Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and related services.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth2, and messaging patterns.
- Proven experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and Oracle ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP), data mapping, and transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and event-driven design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
