About the Role :

We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer with deep expertise in SaaS platforms, AWS cloud technologies, and Python to join our fast-growing SaaS-based organization in Bangalore.This is a high-impact leadership role where you will design and implement large-scale cloud services, build high-performance APIs, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation in cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and reliable cloud management platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and deliver innovative solutions.

- Build and maintain cloud-native components using AWS and related technologies.

- Serve as a technical mentor, fostering collaboration and learning within the team.

- Drive adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in the cloud domain.

- Conduct code and design reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and efficiency.

Must-Have Skills :

- Extensive experience with SaaS platforms and AWS cloud technologies.

- Strong programming expertise in Python.

- Hands-on experience in serverless architecture, event-driven design, and distributed systems.

- Proven ability to design and build low-latency, high-performance APIs.

- Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Streams.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Excellent communication skills and prior leadership/mentoring experience.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of AI/ML systems and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Experience Required :

- 12- 15 years in software development with a focus on SaaS platforms & AWS.

- 8+ years building and shipping SaaS platforms.

- 4+ years working with serverless architecture.

- Strong background in Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
