Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect to drive technology strategy, architecture, innovation, and modernization initiatives across our platform.

This role is intended for a technology leader who combines strong engineering fundamentals with architectural vision, emerging technology expertise, and a passion for evaluating and introducing new solutions that create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate will proactively research modern technologies, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate cloud and AI services, and help define the future technical direction of the platform while working closely with executive leadership and engineering teams.

Technology Leadership & Innovation :

- Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.

- Research modern platforms, frameworks, cloud services, and industry trends.

- Identify opportunities to improve existing products through new technologies.

- Drive innovation and modernization initiatives across the platform.

- Serve as a technical pioneer for new solutions and architectural approaches.

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Define scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.

- Design distributed, cloud-native, and microservices-based solutions.

- Evaluate existing implementations and recommend alternative approaches where appropriate.

- Drive architecture reviews and technical decision-making.

- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and long-term platform strategy.

Proof of Concept (POC) Leadership :

- Lead technical research and feasibility studies.

- Design and implement proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technologies.

- Validate technical approaches before large-scale adoption.

- Present findings, recommendations, and implementation strategies to stakeholders.

AI / LLM & Intelligent Platform Initiatives :

- Evaluate AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.

- Identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements across products and workflows.

- Assess modern AI services, architectures, and integration approaches.

- Contribute to intelligent search, automation, and platform modernization initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to modernize existing platform capabilities through AI-powered services, intelligent search, automation, and microservice-based integrations.

Cloud Architecture & Platform Engineering :

- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Evaluate cloud services and determine their suitability for business requirements.

- Implement scalable microservices and platform capabilities.

- Drive reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.

- Research, evaluate, and integrate cloud-native services and microservice-based solutions to address scalability, automation, AI adoption, and product modernization requirements.

Database, Security & Performance Engineering :

- Design scalable data architectures.

- Optimize database performance, indexing, and query execution.

- Analyze system bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements.

- Demonstrate strong hands-on ownership of database performance and scalability.

- Apply secure architecture principles and security best practices across solutions.

Technical Problem Solving & Modernization :

- Analyze complex technical challenges at a system level.

- Challenge existing assumptions and recommend alternative solutions.

- Drive platform evolution through technology improvements and architectural enhancements.

- Identify opportunities to improve scalability, maintainability, and user experience.

- Prototype and validate new technical approaches when required.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with CTO, Product Management, and Engineering teams.

- Translate business challenges into technical solutions.

- Communicate architectural concepts and technology recommendations effectively.

- Participate in strategic planning and technology roadmap discussions.
