B:Live is building an operating system for enterprise EV fleets combining fleet management, logistics operations, charging, and ESG intelligence into a unified SaaS platform.

Our goal is to create a scalable, modular, and enterprise-ready platform that drives operational efficiency, visibility, and control for fleet operators and enterprise customers.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the core build and evolution of the Fleet SaaS platform.

This is a deep execution and platform ownership role you will define system architecture (from a product lens), drive feature development, and ensure the platform is scalable, reliable, and aligned with real-world operations.

You will work closely with :

- Principal Product Marketing Manager for GTM, positioning, and monetisation

- Engineering teams for execution and delivery

- Operations teams for real-world validation

What You'll Own :

- End-to-end ownership of the Fleet SaaS product build

- Platform architecture (product-level), modules, and feature evolution

- Core systems : asset management, telematics, rentals, utilisation, service workflows

- Execution across web dashboards, mobile apps, and backend systems

- Product scalability, reliability, and performance

Key Responsibilities :

1. Product Ownership & PDLC (Build Focus) :

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle : discovery , design , development , release , iteration

- Translate business and operational problems into scalable product solutions

- Drive high-quality, execution-focused product development

2. Platform Architecture & System Thinking :

- Define product architecture for :

1. Fleet lifecycle management (inventory , deployment , service , recovery)

2. Telematics and vehicle data systems

3. Rentals, allocation, and utilisation tracking

4. Service, maintenance, and incident workflows

- Ensure systems are :

1. Modular

2. Configurable

3. Scalable across clients and geographies

3. Execution & Engineering Alignment :

- Work closely with engineering teams on :

1. Sprint planning and backlog prioritisation

2. API definitions and system flows

3. Trade-offs between speed, scalability, and quality

- Ensure timely delivery with high reliability

4. Problem Discovery with Ops & Customers :

- Work closely with :

1. Fleet operators

2. Enterprise clients

3. Internal ops teams

- Understand real-world workflows and constraints

- Validate solutions before development to avoid rework

5. Data, Metrics & System Visibility :

- Define and track key platform metrics :

1. Fleet utilisation

2. Vehicle uptime/downtime

3. Allocation efficiency

4. Service turnaround time

- Ensure strong event tracking, telemetry integration, and dashboards

6. Collaboration with Product Marketing (GTM Alignment) :

- Work with Product Marketing to :

1. Align features with customer use cases

2. Enable packaging and positioning

3. Support enterprise solution requirements

- Ensure the product is build-ready and market-ready

7. Team Leadership & Product Excellence :

- Mentor APMs and Product Analysts

- Build & drive strong product processes :

1. PRDs

2. User stories

3. Acceptance criteria

- Build a culture of ownership, clarity, and execution discipline

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- 6-10+ years in Product Management (preferably SaaS / platform products)

- Strong experience in building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms

- Proven track record of 0-1 and scale product execution

- Strong understanding of :

1. APIs and backend systems

2. System design and platform architecture (product-level)

- Experience working with engineering teams in high-execution environments

- Data-driven mindset with experience in metrics, dashboards, and tracking systems

- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in fleet management, mobility, logistics, or EV ecosystems

- Exposure to telematics, IoT, or real-time data systems

- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms

- Understanding of operations-heavy workflows (allocations, dispatch, service)
