As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will lead the design and development of MontyClouds Cloud Management Platform, mentor engineers, and help build next-gen scalable cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of the Cloud Management Platform with high scalability and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and deliver innovative solutions.

- Build and maintain cloud-native services leveraging AWS and other cloud technologies.

- Provide technical mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

- Drive best practices, design patterns, and adoption of emerging cloud technologies.

- Ensure delivery of high-quality software with effective processes and methodologies.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong experience in SaaS platforms & AWS cloud technologies.

- Proven expertise in scalable, resilient systems & serverless architecture.

- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, event-driven design, APIs.

- Proficiency with Kafka, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, AWS Kinesis, Azure Streams.

- Programming expertise in Python / Java / Go.

- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).

- Experience in building AI/ML systems and familiarity with LLMs (nice to have).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Good to Have :

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes.

- Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.

Experience & Education :

- 12 to 15 years of software development experience (SaaS & Cloud).

- 8+ years in building and shipping SaaS platforms.

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
