Role : Principal MuleSoft Integration Architect (Anypoint Platform)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal MuleSoft Integration Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions across the enterprise.

This role requires 10- 15 years of experience in enterprise integration, with deep, hands-on expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The Architect will be responsible for defining technical blueprints, championing integration standards, and ensuring all solutions leverage modern microservices architecture and CI/CD best practices to meet complex business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Architecture and Strategy :

- Design, build, and deliver highly scalable integration solutions using all components of the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

- Define and govern architecture blueprints, detailed API specifications (RAML/OAS), and modern integration patterns (e.g., API-led connectivity, synchronous/asynchronous).

- Ensure all integration solutions are meticulously aligned with enterprise architectural standards and overarching business goals.

- Lead the technical governance process, including technical discussions and rigorous code reviews, ensuring quality, performance, and adherence to security policies.

API Development and Security :

- Architect and implement high-performance, secure, and reusable APIs using MuleSoft, focusing on design-first principles.

- Utilize RAML (or OAS) to define API contracts and leverage DataWeave for complex, high-speed message transformation and data mapping.

- Implement and enforce security standards for all APIs, including OAuth, mTLS, and other necessary protocols.

DevOps, Cloud, and Connectivity :

- Drive the adoption and maturity of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Maven, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps) for automated testing, deployment, and management of Mule applications.

- Ensure seamless connectivity across disparate systems (SaaS, legacy, on-premise) via cloud integration strategies.

- Advocate for and implement cloud-native integration strategies within the Anypoint Platform.

- Act as the technical expert for troubleshooting and optimizing complex integration performance issues.

Qualifications & Skills Required :

Experience : 10 to 15 years of experience in enterprise integration, software architecture, and development.

MuleSoft Expertise : Expert proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Runtime, API Manager, Design Center, and Exchange.

Design Expertise : Mandatory expertise in RAML/OAS for API specification and DataWeave for data transformation.

Architecture : Strong functional and technical understanding of enterprise integration patterns, microservices architecture, and event-driven architectures.

Lifecycle Management : Proven experience with cloud integration and leading the end-to-end implementation of large-scale integration solutions.

DevOps : Expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments.
