Principal Engineer - React.js - US/UK client facing - excellent communication skills.

Title : Principal Engineer

Location : Hyderabad (Hybrid but have to be available in Hyderabad for meetings/calls as & when needed)

Experience: 8 - 12 years

Summary : IC + strong stakeholdership and client management + working with small team, not having direct reporting

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and maintenance of high-performance, scalable web applications using React.js.

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Drive UI architecture decisions and ensure implementation aligns with performance and accessibility standards.

- Mentor junior developers and promote front-end best practices across the team.

- Conduct code reviews, ensure high test coverage, and maintain code quality and consistency.

- Integrate with APIs and backend services in coordination with full-stack/backend teams.

- Contribute to improving CI/CD processes for front-end releases.

Requirements :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js, with deep understanding of component lifecycle and state management.

- Experience with front-end build tools and modern frameworks like Next.js.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration patterns.

- Solid grasp of responsive design, browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.

- Experience working with TypeScript and CSS-in-JS libraries or preprocessors (e.g., Styled Components, Sass).

- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and modern web standards.

- Experience with Git and Agile workflows.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of GraphQL.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines tailored to front-end delivery.

- Awareness of web security best practices (e.g., XSS, CORS).

- Familiarity with tools like Storybook or Figma for design-system integration.
