Job Title : Principal Engineer - AI & Platform

Location : Mumbai

Key Objective :

To strengthen the Technology and AI capabilities by independently designing and delivering new platform components, AI-enabled solutions, and technical improvements as a senior individual contributor, enhancing scalability, reliability, and long-term platform readiness.

Key Responsibilities :

- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions through sound technical judgment, design reviews, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts.

- Apply AI and automation across products, operations, and internal workflows to improve scale, reliability, and decision-making.

- Solve complex technical problems end-to-end-from design to production-while integrating cleanly with existing systems.

- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions through design reviews, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts.

- Ensure new systems meet fintech-grade standards for security, performance, and compliance.

- Build production-ready AI/ML integrations, including inference pipelines, monitoring, and cost controls.

- Mentor engineers on advanced system design and practical application of AI where appropriate.

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-grade backend systems (Java Spring Boot, Python) and modern frontend frameworks (React).

- Experience building and integrating AI/ML or LLM-based systems into production environments.

- Cloud-native development experience on AWS or GCP, including Docker and Kubernetes.

- Prior experience in fintech or high-growth startups, with exposure to payments, lending, credit, or risk systems.

- Strong understanding of security, reliability, performance, and compliance in regulated financial systems.

- Ability to work independently, identify high-impact problem areas, and deliver robust solutions.

- Strong technical judgment with a collaborative, low-ego working style.
