Principal Data Governance Architect

Role Summary :

As a Principal Data Governance Architect, your work is a combination of hands-on contribution, customer engagement, techno-functional support, and technical team management. You will design, architect, and deploy solutions for data governance, metadata management, data quality, master data management, data privacy, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and strengthen solutions under the EDM pillar

- Assist in business development for data governance engagements

- Manage cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership

Required Skills :

- 16+ years of experience in data governance or data management

- Strong understanding of EDM tools like Atlan, Alation, Purview, Collibra, Manta, Anomalo, or Ataccama

- Experience in 4-5 full-cycle data governance implementations

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements like GDPR and CCPA

- Proficiency in Python, GenAI, or Agentic AI is a plus

Technical Expertise :

- Data Catalog, Business Glossary, and Metadata management

- Data Quality (IDMC CDQ/Anomalo/Ataccama), Profiling, and Observability

- Data Lineage, Data Products, and Data Marketplace

- EDM architecture review and automation
