About the Role :

We are seeking a highly specialized and deeply experienced Principal SAP LE Consultant with over 20 years of overall SAP experience, including a minimum of 15+ years specifically in SAP Logistics Execution (LE). This senior contract role is essential for leading the functional design, configuration, and deployment of complex SAP LE solutions within global S/4HANA environments. You will drive business transformation by applying SAP best practices across the entire logistics and warehouse spectrum.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Leadership : Lead the end-to-end functional design, configuration, and deployment of robust SAP LE solutions within S/4HANA landscapes.

- Business Process Optimization : Conduct in-depth analysis of current logistics and warehouse business processes, identify critical gaps, and recommend advanced SAP best practices and solutions.

- Core LE Design : Design and implement comprehensive solutions covering Shipping, Inbound/Outbound Logistics, Deliveries, Transportation (basic), and Warehouse movements.

- Cross-Module Integration : Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management/Extended Warehouse Management), and TM (Transportation Management) modules.

- Project Lifecycle Governance : Lead key phases of large-scale projects, including fit-gap analysis, writing functional specifications, detailed test planning, managing UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and executing cutover strategies.

- Data and Support : Support complex data migration activities for logistics objects, ensure data consistency post-migration, and provide expert production support and drive necessary enhancements for existing SAP LE modules.

- Global Template & Rollouts : Apply proven experience in global template design, rollouts, and localizations to ensure standardized yet compliant global solutions.

Required Expertise (Mandatory Skills) :

- Total Experience : Overall SAP experience of 20+ years, with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in SAP LE.

- Project Cycles : Proven participation in at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations or rollouts.

- S/4HANA Expertise : 8+ years of hands-on experience in S/4HANA, with strong knowledge of logistics simplifications.

- Core LE Functionality : Strong expertise in SAP Logistics Execution, including :

1. Outbound/Inbound Delivery Processing

2. Shipping & Transportation (Basic LE Transportation)

3. Warehouse Interface / Basic WM

4. Batch Management & Handling Units (HU)

- Integration : Expert-level knowledge of integration with SD, MM, and EWM.

- Communication & Analysis : Exceptional ability to engage with business teams, effectively gather complex requirements, and translate them into effective, configured SAP solutions.

- Data Interface : Familiarity with data interfaces, including IDocs, ALE, and EDI for logistics processes.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), or SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).

- SAP certification in LE, S/4HANA Logistics, or SCM.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
