We are looking for a Principal Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Foundations team. You will work on creating scalable, secure, and reusable cloud architecture patterns, enabling faster delivery and innovation across the enterprise. You will have hands-on experience in DevOps Tools and languages using Azure and Google Cloud Platform and are able to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain the Cloud Foundation.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain the Cloud Foundations on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to meet enterprise-level needs.

- Develop and publish reusable cloud architecture patterns to accelerate cloud adoption by diverse product teams.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across product teams and business units to understand requirements and design bootstrapped solutions.

- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool.

- Manage an Internal Developer tool/portal (IDP) to simplify and streamline cloud provisioning workflows.

- Ensure monitoring and alerting has been configured to continuously stay ahead of potential security, compliance, or threshold issues and incidents.

- Comply with industry regulations and Cyber Security Office (CSO).

- Be an advocate for shift left mindset by guiding team members and product teams who are embarking on their own GitOps and DevSecOps journey.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 8+ years as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- 8+ years using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform.

- 5+ years developing CI/CD pipelines using GitOps and DevSecOps practices to provision and manage cloud infrastructure with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.

- 2+ years working with Internal Developer Portals (e.g., Terraform Cloud, Scaler, Spacelift, Cycloid, Env0).

- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert [AZ-305], Google Cloud Professional Architect).

- Proven expertise in designing scalable, reusable, and secure cloud architecture patterns (e.g., 3-tier, serverless, domain-driven microservices, event-driven, data ETL/ELT pipelines).

- 2+ years in a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceuticals, with strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, security requirements, and adherence to ITIL and ITSM principles.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
