Role : Principal Engineer - CAD Designing

We are looking for a Principal Engineer CAD to drive development and deployment of advanced CAD tools and design flows for digital and analog semiconductor projects. The role involves close collaboration with global engineering teams and customer support activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain frontend/backend CAD flows for RTL-to-GDS implementation

- Support HPC design methodologies and advanced node technologies

- Automate design flows using Tcl, Perl, and Python scripting

- Work with EDA tools across synthesis, implementation, and STA domains

- Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and external partners

- Evaluate and improve CAD methodologies for better efficiency and turnaround time

- Provide technical leadership and customer-facing support during deployments

Required Skills :

- BTech/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

- 10+ years of experience in EDA/CAD development

- Strong expertise in Synopsys/Cadence digital design flows

- Hands-on experience with LSF/Slurm and license management environments

- Good debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Japanese communication skills are an added advantage
