Function : Software Engineering/Backend/Enterprise Architecture

We are looking for a seasoned Principal Architect to drive the design and evolution of large-scale, mission-critical systems. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, high-scale distributed systems, and transformation initiatives, along with the ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive enterprise-wide architecture strategy, blueprints, and technology roadmaps.

- Architect high-performance, always-on, and high-volume systems ensuring scalability, resilience, and reliability.

- Lead end-to-end solution design, collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.

- Drive modernization initiatives, including legacy transformation, monolith to microservices migration, and system re-engineering.

- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across teams.

- Partner with multiple teams to optimize cross-system performance, integrations, and data flows.

- Evaluate technologies and guide adoption aligned with long-term business and platform strategy.

- Contribute to effort estimation, solution costing, and technical risk assessment.

Core Technical Skills :

- Expertise in large-scale distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API-driven design

- Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise integration patterns

- Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka) and caching layers (Redis)

- Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases

- Experience with cloud-native architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s)

- Familiarity with observability stacks (ELK) and performance tuning of high-scale systems

- Exposure to frontend technologies (React) for end-to-end architectural understanding

Key Requirements :

- 14 to 18 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with a strong focus on large systems

- Proven experience in defining and delivering architecture for high-scale, high-availability systems

- Strong experience in enterprise transformation initiatives (legacy modernization, system integration)

- Ability to drive architectural decisions across multiple teams and domains

- Experience in vendor management and multi-system integration environments

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
