Principal Architect - Distributed Systems

We're looking for an Architect to design the core technology stack, services, and infrastructure driving our product evolution. You'll own architecture for shared services, APIs, identity, observability, and deployment frameworks collaborating with executives, engineering, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end architecture for platforms and the applications they power.

- Define scalable, reliable, and high-performance system architectures.

- Create reusable components, APIs, and infrastructure patterns.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to drive CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.

- Establish standards and best practices for system design, cloud architecture, security, and data platforms.

- Align technical vision with the long-term product roadmap through close collaboration with product, business, and engineering leaders.

Requirements :

- Proven expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Extensive experience with deployment architectures across both on-premises and cloud environments.

- Deep knowledge of system reliability, observability, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.

- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale architectural initiatives for enterprise or consumer-facing systems.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at executive levels.

- Good documentation and presentation abilities; skilled at simplifying complex concepts.

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in architectural leadership roles.

- Experience in designing and scaling large enterprise products/platforms.

- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, or equivalent are a plus.

- Experience in highly regulated or complex domains (e. g., finance, healthcare, aviation, logistics) is desirable.
