PrimEra Medical Technologies - IT Payroll Application Analyst

JOB SUMMARY :

Prime Healthcare Management is seeking candidates for IT Payroll Application Analyst position with experience in Lawsons Payroll modules including but not limited to payroll and absence management. The candidate/s will be responsible for all aspects of the assigned Lawson application and any other supporting systems.

Reporting to the IT ERP Manager / Chief Technology Officer, this position partners with Payroll Directors and their customers to analyze work process designs, flows, and improvements to leverage the return on technological capabilities. It requires knowledge of Lawson's PR and LP modules with the primary focus being active use of the system, Implementations as well as support and maintenance. The incumbent will serve as technical point-of-contact for an assigned functional area as well as assist subject matter experts by ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Analyst also supports Payroll upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING :

- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience

- Three to five years of Payroll experience required

- Ability to travel up to 50%

- Strong knowledge of Lawson modules including but not limited to Payroll, Absence Management, ESS, MSS, Crystal Report Writing, and Add-ins.

- Proven experience on Payroll processing.

- Experience with Lawson HCM system full cycle implementation a plus, preferably in a healthcare setting

- Strong understanding of pay practices, pay codes, deductions codes, union dues etc.

- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Knowledge of Kronos or JbDev time clocking system is required.

- Knowledge of developing interfaces with third party vendors is a plus

- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment with many growth opportunities offered through diverse projects

- Ability to work with end-users and trouble shoot issues is required.

- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in integrating Lawson Payroll modules with other Lawson modules like Finance is required.

- Must have experience in data conversion techniques and methodologies

Other preferred qualifications :

- Three years or more of project management experience

- Ability to define Process flows for Infor Process Automation.
