Microsoft 365 Solution Architect / Presales Consultant

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Solution Architect / Presales Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and enterprise solution architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in presales engagements, solution design, architecture governance, and project delivery oversight while working closely with clients, sales teams, and global delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Presales & Solution Architecture :

- Lead discovery workshops, client meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.

- Understand customer business requirements and translate them into scalable Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.

- Design end-to-end solution architectures leveraging SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft 365 services.

- Prepare technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), architecture documents, and solution blueprints.

- Create effort estimates, project timelines, resource plans, and implementation roadmaps.

- Identify project risks, dependencies, assumptions, and mitigation strategies during the solutioning phase.

- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business and technical objectives.

Technical Leadership & Architecture Governance :

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and delivery teams.

- Define and enforce architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

- Review solution designs and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles.

- Drive collaboration among architects, developers, and project stakeholders for successful delivery.

- Ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability of solutions.

Delivery Oversight & Global Team Coordination :

- Work closely with onsite and offshore teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide architectural guidance during development, testing, deployment, and support phases.

- Participate in project planning, sprint reviews, architecture reviews, and delivery checkpoints.

- Monitor project progress and address technical challenges proactively.

- Support project governance activities including :

1. Project Planning & Kickoff

2. Weekly Delivery Monitoring

3. Client Communication

4. Risk Management

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric technologies.

- Recommend innovative solutions and enhancements to improve business outcomes.

- Evaluate third-party tools, integrations, and emerging technologies.

- Promote adoption of modern development practices and cloud-first architectures.

- Strong customer-facing consulting and presentation skills.

- Experience working with global and offshore delivery teams.

Qualifications : BE in IT or equivalent
