Frontend Engineer (React Native)

We're seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on React Native to join our team. You will be responsible for building engaging and performant cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

What You'll Work On:

- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

- Implement high-quality UI/UX designs from wireframes and design documents.

- Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to define and consume APIs.

- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code.

- Ensure applications are responsive and performant across a variety of devices.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application lifecycle.

- Publish and manage applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

What We're Looking For:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience building applications with React Native.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.

- Solid understanding of native Android and iOS platforms (activity lifecycles, build systems like Gradle/Xcode).

- Experience developing cross-platform native libraries and bridging native code (Java/Kotlin for Android; Swift/Obj-C for iOS) to React Native.

- Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).

- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and a keen eye for detail.

- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

Bonus Points For:

- Familiarity with backend development and API design (e.g., Go, Node.js) is a plus.

- Experience with React Native Web or other cross-platform solutions.

- Prior experience with Capacitor or similar tools.

- Experience with performance optimization techniques for mobile apps.

- Familiarity with modern build tools and monorepo setups (e.g., Turborepo, Nx).
