Position : Senior Oracle DBA (3 Months contract with possibility of extension for 1 year)

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database environments (production, test, and development).

- Manage database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.

- Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).

- Configure and maintain high availability solutions such as Oracle Real Application Clusters and Oracle Data Guard.

- Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues affecting performance or availability.

- Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patching.

- Manage database security, access control, and compliance requirements.

- Support disaster recovery planning and testing.

- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to optimize database usage.

- Automate DBA tasks using scripts and monitoring tools.

- Provide production support and troubleshooting for critical database incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8-12+ years of experience in Oracle database administration.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Oracle Database architecture and internals

2. Performance tuning

3. SQL and PL/SQL

- Experience with :

1. Oracle Real Application Clusters

2. Oracle Data Guard

3. Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)

- Experience managing databases on Linux/Unix environments

- Knowledge of backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Experience with database monitoring and automation tools.

- Exposure to cloud database platforms such as :

1. Microsoft Azure

2. Amazon Web Services

3. Oracle Corporation Cloud Infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications :

- Cloud certifications such as :

1. Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert

2. Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
