Role Overview :

We are looking for a passionate and motivated iOS Developer with 1 - 3 years of experience in mobile application development using Swift or Objective-C. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in iOS development, a good understanding of software design principles, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reliable iOS applications that deliver seamless user experiences and contribute to Practo's mission of transforming healthcare through technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C.

- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications following established design principles and coding standards.

- Work with iOS frameworks, including UIKit and Foundation, and understand the iOS application lifecycle.

- Apply object-oriented programming concepts, modular architecture, and reusable code practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-focused features.

- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle network requests, data processing, and error management.

- Follow architectural patterns such as MVVM and apply software design principles to build maintainable applications.

- Debug issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and optimize application performance.

- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous improvement of code quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in iOS application development using Swift or Objective-C.

- Good understanding of iOS fundamentals, including UIKit, Foundation, and the application lifecycle.

- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and fundamental software design principles.

- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and client-server communication.

- Familiarity with debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization.

- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with MVVM architecture, modular development, and common design patterns.

- Exposure to dependency management tools such as CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager.

- Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks such as RxSwift or Combine.

- Understanding of application security, scalability, and performance best practices.

- Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

- Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing practices.

- Exposure to building consumer-facing mobile applications.

- Ability to adapt to new technologies, programming languages, and evolving product requirements.

- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product development environment is an advantage.
