About the Role :
Practo is looking for an accomplished Analytics Head to lead the organization's analytics function and strengthen data-led decision-making across the business. This senior leadership role will define the analytics strategy, build scalable capabilities, and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve customer outcomes, operational effectiveness, and business performance.
The Analytics Head will partner closely with senior leadership and teams across Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and other business functions. The role requires a hands-on strategic leader who can combine analytical depth, business judgment, and strong people leadership.
About the Team :
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of analysts and data scientists and work closely with data and technology partners. The team transforms data into insights, models, and decision frameworks that help Practo solve meaningful healthcare and business problems. Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with Practo's business priorities and long-term goals.
- Partner with senior leaders to frame critical business questions, establish analytical approaches, and convert insights into measurable actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts and data scientists, creating clear standards for quality, ownership, and professional growth.
- Oversee complex analyses, including predictive modeling, experimentation, forecasting, segmentation, and advanced statistical techniques.
- Embed analytics into core business processes across Product, Marketing, Operations, and other functions to improve decision quality and execution.
- Establish robust practices for data governance, metric definitions, reporting, and quality assurance so that analytics outputs remain accurate, consistent, and trusted.
- Collaborate with technology and data engineering teams to strengthen data infrastructure, accessibility, scalability, and toolsets.
- Build effective dashboards and reporting mechanisms that give leaders timely visibility into business performance and emerging opportunities.
- Communicate complex findings in a clear and compelling manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions at all levels.
- Track industry trends, emerging analytical methods, and relevant technologies to continuously enhance Practo's analytics capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience :
- Proven experience in a senior analytics leadership role, preferably within healthcare, consumer technology, digital platforms, or another data-intensive environment.
- Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing analytics teams.
- Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, experimentation, and data visualization.
- Strong command of SQL and working proficiency in analytical programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to connect analytical work to commercial and operational outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to present complex insights to senior leadership.
- Experience collaborating with data engineering and technology teams on data platforms, pipelines, quality, and accessibility.
- A strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and analytical use cases is preferred.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and platforms such as Hadoop or Spark is an advantage.
