Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

API Testing :

- Perform comprehensive API testing using Postman.

- Verify API results to ensure they meet standard specifications and are accurate.

- Validate API functionality, performance, and reliability.

Requirements & Collaboration :

- Communicate directly with clients to understand and clarify requirements for new interfaces.

- Maintain a proper understanding of the functionality of each interface partner and their specifications.

- Collaborate with the QA and development teams to analyze client requirements and design effective test plans.

Testing & Defect Management :

- Execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure all functionalities are working as expected.

- Identify, document, and report defects using a bug tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).

- Debug issues and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

- Update tasks and test statuses in JIRA regularly to maintain project visibility.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain associated documentation related to testing, including test cases, test reports, and API specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing.

- API Testing : Hands-on experience with API testing tools, specifically Postman.

- Domain Knowledge : Good understanding of software interface concepts and web services (REST/SOAP).

- Collaboration : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

- Tools : Proficiency with bug tracking and project management tools, particularly JIRA.

- Shift Flexibility : Must be comfortable working in a mid-shift (2 PM to 11 PM IST).
