Your Mission :

As the VLSI Front-End Services Practice Head / Director Engineering, you will spearhead the growth of a rapidly expanding semiconductor services business and lead strategic customer engagements across ASIC front-end development.

You will own :

- VLSI practice strategy and business growth

- Customer engagement and technical consulting

- Capability development and engineering excellence

- Talent creation and scaling

- Delivery oversight for complex semiconductor programs

- Semiconductor ecosystem partnerships

What You Will Drive :

Strategic Leadership :

- Define and execute the VLSI services roadmap

- Build differentiated semiconductor offerings and methodologies

- Develop scalable engineering capabilities and reusable frameworks

- Create strong partnerships across the semiconductor ecosystem

Customer & Business Growth :

- Engage with customer design managers and leadership teams

- Drive technical discussions and secure design wins

- Collaborate with sales and presales to create compelling proposals

- Expand strategic semiconductor accounts and customer relationships

Engineering Excellence :

Lead front-end ASIC development across :

i. RTL Design

ii. Functional Verification

iii. UVM Methodology

iv. UPF / Power Intent

v. SDC / Timing Constraints

vi. Formal Verification

vii. Emulation

Talent & Team Building :

- Build and mentor high-performance VLSI teams

- Scale the organization from 50+ to 500+ engineers

- Drive hiring, training, and upskilling initiatives

- Collaborate with academia and partner ecosystems

What We're Looking For :

Must-Have Experience :

- 15+ years in VLSI / ASIC engineering

- Strong semiconductor engineering leadership background

- Expertise in ASIC front-end design & verification

- Hands-on exposure to industry-standard EDA tools

- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills

- Experience driving large engineering teams and business growth

Technical Expertise :

Strong expertise in :

i. Verilog / SystemVerilog

ii. UVM Verification

iii. UPF & SDC

iv. Formal Verification

v. Emulation Platforms

vi. ASIC Front-End Design Flows

Hands-on familiarity with :

i. Synopsys

ii. Cadence

iii. Siemens EDA tools

Knowledge of :

i. LEF / DEF / SPEF formats

ii. Advanced semiconductor design methodologies
