Role Overview :

VectorStack is seeking a highly experienced Practice Head Cybersecurity to lead its cybersecurity vertical with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled SOC design, cybersecurity transformation, and compliance management.

Important Requirement :

We are specifically looking for candidates who have strong professional experience in the Power & Energy industry, Utilities, or other Critical Infrastructure domains.

This role includes P&L ownership, practice development responsibilities, and direct collaboration with CXOs and Boards of large enterprises within the Power & Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Build and execute the cybersecurity practice roadmap aligned with VectorStacks AI-driven offerings.

- Drive P&L strategy, revenue growth, and new business development.

- Represent VectorStack as an industry thought leader across cybersecurity forums and conferences.

2. Technical & Delivery Excellence:

- Architect and oversee SOC setup, deployment, and operations with a focus on Power, Energy, and Utilities environments.

- Integrate AI/ML-based threat detection, predictive analytics, and automated incident response.

- Implement and evaluate advanced SIEM, SOAR, and next-gen security tools.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including NERC CIP, CERT-In, ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, CEA guidelines, and NCIIPC policies.

3. Business & Practice Development:

- Build and manage a high-performing team of cybersecurity architects, SOC engineers, and analysts.

- Develop cybersecurity service offerings, accelerators, and delivery frameworks.

- Support sales teams with proposals and client acquisitionespecially within Power, Energy & Utilities sectors.

4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as a strategic advisor to CXOs and Boards on enterprise-wide cybersecurity.

- Lead end-to-end cybersecurity transformation programs ensuring measurable risk reduction.

- Maintain strong relationships with clients to support growth and long-term value delivery.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 15+ years of overall cybersecurity experience, with 8+ years in leadership roles.

- Mandatory : Strong experience working in the Power, Energy, Utilities, or Critical Infrastructure industry.

- Proven track record of setting up and managing SOCs for large-scale industrial environments.

- Expertise in AI/ML-based cybersecurity, threat hunting, and automated incident response.

- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks : ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443, NERC CIP, CERT-In, CEA guidelines.

- Experience managing multi-million-dollar cybersecurity programs and large teams.

- Excellent communication skills with proven CXO-level engagement capability.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with State Electricity Boards, Power Distribution Companies, or Energy Utilities.

- Exposure to international cybersecurity programs in the energy sector.

- Certifications : CISSP, CISM, CCISO, GIAC, or similar.
