Role : Power Bi Developer

Job Description :

As a Power BI Developer, will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our library of reports and performance dashboards. Power BI Developer will work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze and represent data Expertise in communicating complex stories with data will be essential in crafting robust and scalable solutions to drive data insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities :

- Work in an agile development environment.

- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.

- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting requirements.

- Own BI and reporting platform and customer needs

- Establish standard processes in dashboard design, data modeling, and workflow then partner with analysts to implement consistently

- Engineered datasets and reports in Power BI to showcase crucial metrics derived from Microsoft Dynamics

- CRM, contributing to data-driven decision-making within the organization

- Architected and implemented robust ETL frameworks tailored for data warehousing, pivotal in supporting complex dashboards.

- Designed and ensured seamless data flow, integrity, and accessibility to enhance decision-making processes.

- Monitor the performance of BI reports and dashboards.

- Create reports and dashboards using BI tools such as MS Power BI, MS Report Builder and web-based tools to visualize data and key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Partner with our engineering team to drive standard practices and enhance our data infrastructure

- Work with data governance stewards to ensure compliance with data quality and security standards.

- Run and maintain executive and departmental reporting

- Maintain documentation related to data definitions, business rules, and report specifications.

- Provide training to end-users on using BI tools and interpreting reports.

- Remain current with the latest industry trends and best practices in data visualization using AI .

- Build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up

- Audit existing Power BI efforts with a focus on improvement

- Visualize compelling data stories on the report canvas

- Produce KPIs with user-friendly display dashboards

- Collaborate with client's data team to engineer revolutionary companywide data solutions

- Provide skills training both at our client's firms and in public classes

- Develop and implement Ad Hoc and Enterprise Power BI Solutions for our clients.

Requirements :

- Strong experience developing and training BI tool standard processes among analysts and end-users

- High-level SQL proficiency

- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure).

- A passion for full-stack data modeling and owning the end-to-end process ensuring data quality with a focus on back-end data modeling

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
