Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with Power Apps expertise to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and business applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Apps, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Microsoft Power Platform, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Must-Have Skills :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development

- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling

- Experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps

- Experience building Canvas Apps and/or Model-Driven Apps

- Good understanding of Microsoft Dataverse

- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

- Experience with Power BI deployment, workspaces, access management, and refresh schedules

- Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective BI solutions

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Power Platform ecosystem

- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based data sources

- Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 integrations

- Knowledge of Power BI Row-Level Security (RLS)

- Experience with Power BI Gateway and data refresh management

- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts

- Experience integrating Power Apps with Power BI

- Familiarity with Power BI performance optimization

- Knowledge of Power Platform governance and best practices

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

- Develop efficient data models, calculated columns, measures, and complex DAX expressions.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and cleansing using Power Query.

- Connect Power BI with multiple data sources including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms.

- Develop business applications using Power Apps to support business processes.

- Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for process automation and notifications.

- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and application requirements.

- Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.

- Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, reports, permissions, and scheduled refreshes.

- Implement appropriate security controls such as Row-Level Security (RLS).

- Troubleshoot issues related to Power BI reports, data refreshes, Power Apps, and automated workflows.

- Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Power Platform and BI development best practices.

- Prepare technical documentation and provide support to business users when required.

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
