Role Overview :

As a Power BI Developer, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into intuitive and actionable insights for our clients. This role involves end-to-end development of robust Power BI solutions, from data ingestion and modeling to report design and deployment. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and project teams to understand analytical requirements, ensuring that delivered solutions directly address critical business questions and empower data-driven strategic decisions that impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy high-impact Power BI reports and interactive dashboards for diverse business stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.

- Construct and optimize robust data models within Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance for complex analytical needs.

- Perform advanced data transformation and cleansing using Power Query and DAX, integrating data from various disparate sources to create unified datasets for reporting.

- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to define data requirements, ensuring seamless data pipeline integration and data quality for analytical initiatives.

- Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and underlying data models, delivering fast and responsive analytical experiences for end-users.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all Power BI solutions, data models, and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future enhancements.

- Provide expert guidance and support to business users, fostering self-service analytics capabilities and maximizing the adoption of Power BI insights across the organization.

Required Skillset :

- 6 - 7 years of progressive experience in Power BI development, including advanced data modeling, report design, and performance optimization.

- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including advanced report design, visualization best practices, and dashboard development.

- Proficiency in DAX for complex calculations and Power Query (M language) for data transformation and integration from various sources.

- Solid understanding and practical application of data modeling principles, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data warehousing concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components relevant to data integration, data warehousing, and analytics, enhancing Power BI capabilities.

- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from relational databases.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data interpretation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively translating technical insights to business stakeholders and collaborating within cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
