Role Overview :

As a Power BI Developer with 4-6 years of experience, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights for our clients.

This role involves end-to-end development of robust and intuitive Power BI solutions, from data extraction and modeling to the design and deployment of interactive dashboards and reports.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and project managers to understand analytical requirements, ensuring that our data visualizations effectively communicate key performance indicators and support critical decision-making processes across various business functions.

Your contributions will directly enable our clients to gain deeper understanding of their operations, identify trends, and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop compelling, user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.

- Model and transform complex datasets using Power Query (M-language) and DAX to create efficient and scalable data models that meet analytical requirements.

- Collaborate with data engineers and source system owners to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for reporting purposes.

- Optimize existing Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, scalability, and maintainability, enhancing user experience and system efficiency.

- Implement robust security measures within Power BI, managing row-level security and access controls to protect sensitive business information.

- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities, fostering a data-literate culture within client organizations.

- Document technical specifications, data sources, and report logic to ensure transparency and facilitate future enhancements and troubleshooting.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI development, including advanced DAX calculations, M-query, and data modeling techniques.

- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing visually appealing and highly interactive dashboards that effectively convey business insights.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and experience connecting to various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Excel, SharePoint).

- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective analytical solutions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and present findings clearly.

- A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate data solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
