Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design

Responsibilities :

- Repoint and migrate reports to SSAS 2022 ensuring compatibility, accuracy, and functional continuity.

- Validate and enhance data model connections, measures, and visualisations during migration.

- Review existing Power BI reports to identify performance bottlenecks, inefficient DAX queries, or suboptimal data models.

- Implement industry best practices for Power BI performance tuning, including DAX optimisation, model reduction, query folding, and aggregations.

- Collaborate with SSAS/BI teams to optimise cubes, partitions, and processing strategies.

- Take ownership of ongoing support for Power BI and SSAS environments.

- Maintain and enhance Row-Level Security (RLS) configurations in both SSAS and Power BI.

Requirements :

- 5 -10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, with a strong focus on Power BI development.

- Hands-on experience with SSAS 2016 and SSAS 2022 (Tabular Model).

- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modelling techniques.

- Proven experience in performance optimisation of Power BI reports and SSAS models.

- Deep understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) setup and maintenance.

- Experience with data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and OLAP/tabular models.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
