- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service

- Experience building and managing Power BI Apps and Dataflows

- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling

- Experience with Power Automate for report automation and workflows

- Experience in creating Power BI reports using multiple data sources, such as : SharePoint, SQL Server, Datalake views, SAP data sources (HANA, BW good to have)

Role Overview :

As a Power BI Developer at InititateFirst, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to our clients. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into compelling visualizations. Your work will directly impact our clients' ability to improve operational efficiency, identify new opportunities, and make informed strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements for reporting solutions.

- Develop and maintain data models in Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Write and optimize DAX queries to perform complex calculations and data analysis.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

- Deploy and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards on the Power BI Service.

- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Power BI development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Proven ability to design and implement efficient data models in Power BI.

- Strong proficiency in writing DAX queries for data analysis and calculations.

- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Must have 7-9 years of experience in Power BI development.
