Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Certified PostgreSQL Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, schemas, and database objects.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/pgSQL.

- Perform database design, normalization, and schema management.

- Monitor and optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.

- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues while ensuring high availability and performance.

- Collaborate with application development teams to design scalable and efficient database solutions.

- Implement database security, access control, and best practices.

- Work in Linux/Unix environments to support database deployments and maintenance.

- Use Git for version control and database script management.

- Prepare technical documentation for database architecture, deployment, and operational procedures.

Required Skills :

- Mandatory : PostgreSQL Developer (CPSDBD) certification.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL development.

- Strong expertise in SQL and PL/pgSQL (functions, procedures, triggers).

- Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling.

- Experience in query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL backup/recovery, replication, and schema management.

- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Experience with Git version control.

- Strong production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
