Job Description :

As a PostgreSQL Developer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our database systems.

You will be responsible for SQL/PLSQL development and administration in both Postgres and Teradata Database environments.

In addition, you will work with Cassandra databases, handling CQL queries and data migration tasks.

Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare and manage master data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

- Hands-on experience with Cassandra Query Language (CQL) for querying and maintaining Cassandra databases.

- Perform data migration tasks within Cassandra environments.

- Proficiency in Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting for automation and scripting tasks.

- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills to resolve database-related issues efficiently.

- Knowledge of other databases like Oracle, SQL Server, hBase, etc., will be considered a valuable advantage.

- Preferred candidates will have experience in support projects, providing timely assistance and solutions to database-related challenges.

Qualifications :

- 6-7 years of hands-on experience in SQL/PLSQL in Postgres and Teradata Database environments.

- Proven expertise in database administration, maintenance, and performance tuning.

- Strong proficiency in Cassandra Query Language (CQL) and data migration within Cassandra environments.

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.

- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Knowledge of other databases like Oracle, SQL Server, hBase, etc., is a plus.

- Experience in support projects is preferred.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
