About the Role :

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer with strong expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing Guidewire solutions.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end implementations, from design to deployment, while driving innovation in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Hands-on design and configuration of Guidewire PolicyCenter modules.

- Configure rules, PCF screens, data model changes, Gosu scripts, and Gosu classes.

- Develop and unit test business rules using Guidewire Studio.

- Build and unit test product models using Guidewire Product Designer.

- Work with Guidewire Rating Engine to develop rating logic.

- Design and implement integrations for PolicyCenter using APIs, plugins, messaging, and SOA.

- Participate in the full SDLC using Agile methodologies.

- Lead user stories independently and ensure high-quality testing and delivery.

- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and define technical architecture.

- Work on Guidewire implementations from inception through deployment.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Strong knowledge of OOTB PolicyCenter Data Model.

- Expertise in Gosu programming, Java, APIs, and Webservices.

- Experience working with PolicyCenter version 8 or above.

- Minimum 3 years of Guidewire implementation experience in the insurance domain.

- Strong background with application servers like WebSphere or Tomcat.

- Good design and development expertise with integration projects.

- Experience with Agile/Iterative development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Guidewire Digital products is a plus.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

- Experience in leading technical stories and mentoring team members.
