Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Automate API testing using Rest Assured.

- Validate REST and SOAP services using Postman and SoapUI.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure software quality.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.

- Drive automation transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint activities.

- Explore and implement modern testing practices and tools.

Required Skills :

- 6-10 years of experience in Automation Testing.

- Strong proficiency in either :

1. Java

2. Python

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Playwright

2. Selenium

- Experience developing automation frameworks from scratch.

- Strong expertise in API testing and automation :

1. Rest Assured

2. Postman

3. SoapUI

- Experience with CI/CD tools :

1. Jenkins

2. Helios

- Knowledge of version control systems :

1. Git

2. BitBucket

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

Preferred Skills :

- Willingness to learn and enhance expertise in Playwright with JavaScript.

- Exposure to Gen AI technologies such as :

1. OpenAI

2. GitHub Copilot

- Experience working on Proof of Concepts (POCs) involving AI-assisted testing.

- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
