Core Responsibilities :
Design & Build Automation Framework :
- Architect and develop scalable, maintainable test frameworks using Playwright and Playwright Test.
- Leverage features like browser contexts, trace viewer, screenshot/video capture, auto-wait, and web-first assertions
- End- to- End, Functional & Regression Testing
- Automate full E2E, smoke, functional, and regression test suites across Chromium, Firefox, WebKit, and mobile emulations
- Script real user interactions through Playwright's powerful Input API (mouse, keyboard, touch, clipboard, etc.)
SecureBlitz Cybersecurity :
- Cross- Browser & Cross- Platform Assurance
- Ensure coverage across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile environments
Microsoft Azure :
- Embed test suites into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Automate test execution in cloud environments (including Microsoft Playwright Testing)
Build Reporting & Traceability :
- Generate and maintain test reports, logs, Playwright traces, and videos for debugging
- Integrate reporting artifacts into your CI dashboard or custom reporting system.
Test Strategy & Planning :
- Partner with product owners, developers, and QA to establish and refine test strategies.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, test-case design, risk assessment, and coverage planning
Quality & Flakiness Mitigation :
- Identify flaky tests, use retries, and optimize waits/assertions to boost test stability
- Use Playwright's auto-wait, retry logic, and resilience features
Performance & API Testing :
- Optionally automate non-functional and performance tests (using K6, JMeter, etc.)
Maintenance & Scaling :
- Maintain test data and environments; refine automation practices.
- Scale test architecture to support parallel execution, cloud test grids, and regional deployments
Team Collaboration & Mentorship :
- Review code, mentor juniors, and share best practices in test automation
- Actively research and champion new methodologies, libraries, or tool enhancements .
Required Experience & Skills :
- Languages & Tools : JavaScript/TypeScript primary (Python/.NET/Java a plus); strong Git skills
- Playwright Expertise : Hands-on with Playwright/Test, including context isolation, trace/features, locator strategies
- CI/CD Acumen : Experience with pipelines (Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) .
- Automation Best Practices : Framework design, reporting, mocking, page object model, retry strategies .
- Web Technologies : HTML, CSS, JS understanding for interactions and selectors
Preferred Qualifications :
- 4+ years in QA automation, with 1+ year specifically using Playwright
- Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or K6 .
- Background with frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine
- Exposure to Microsoft's cloud Playwright Testing (Azure preview) for scalable test execution

- Test stability (flakiness rate below threshold)
- Test execution time (optimize CI runtime)
- Defect leakage (bugs found in production)
