Playwright Programmer - Automation Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end test frameworks.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a passion for improving software quality through automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright

- Build scalable and reusable test frameworks for web applications

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements

- Perform cross-browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)

- Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines

- Debug and troubleshoot test failures and flaky tests

- Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices for test automation

- Generate test reports and provide actionable insights

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Min 3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright

- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript

- Experience with test runners like Playwright Test, Jest, or Mocha

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)

- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, APIs)

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with API testing (e.g., REST, GraphQL)

- Knowledge of performance or security testing

- Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
