Job Title : Playwright Automation Engineer

Location : Noida/Gurgaon/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai (Hybrid: 2-3 days from client office)

Employment Type : Contract (6 months, extendable)

Experience : 5-10 years in software testing, with at least several years focused on automation

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation suites using Playwright (Coded UI).

- Test Execution: Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality and integration points.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and identify testing needs.

- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects.

- Test Planning: Develop test plans and test cases.

- Best Practices: Ensure implementation of best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Playwright Framework: Strong proficiency in Playwright and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.

- CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

- API Testing: Working knowledge of API testing, database testing (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and

integration testing.

- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and defect tracking tools like JIRA.

Soft Skills :

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).

- Knowledge of other testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.

- Experience in managing automation projects.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
