Playwright Automation Engineer

Job Title : Playwright Automation Engineer

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Noida, Chennai Hybrid (34 days from Office)

Experience : 4 - 6 years

Employment Type : Contractual

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage and high-quality releases.

- Perform API testing, database testing (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and integration testing.

- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

- Use Git for version control and JIRA (or similar tools) for defect tracking and management.

- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide detailed reports.

- Ensure adherence to testing best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on expertise with the Playwright framework and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Strong knowledge of API testing, database testing, and integration testing.

- Proficiency with Git for version control and JIRA for defect tracking.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
