Description :

- Role : MS Defender (Platform Security Expert).

- Experience : Above 12 Years (Relevant : 7+ Years).

- Location : Mumbai.

- Education : M.Tech / B.Tech only.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide platform security strategy and advisory for Microsoft technologies.

- Guide design, selection, and configuration of endpoint security (AV/EDR), O365, Intune, Active Directory.

- Define security policies & standards for servers, OS, databases based on global best practices (CIS benchmarks, OEM hardening).

- Conduct security assessments of Active Directory, Windows servers, and endpoints.

- Advise on secure deployment of servers and platform technologies.

- Strategize and implement highand low-level monitoring mechanisms for platform security.

- Keep abreast of new security technologies and vulnerabilities (CERT, CSITE, CISA, OEM advisories).

- PowerShell scripting, reporting, and automation experience is a plus.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in AV/EDR, M365 technologies, Active Directory, Azure AD.

- Strong knowledge of compliance, security configurations, and vulnerability management.

- Broad understanding of cryptography, networking basics, and endpoint security.

- Security advisory experience for technology acquisition and deployment.
