Experience : 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

About the Role :

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to join their team and drive the automation, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in DevOps practices, deep hands-on experience with AWS, and a thorough understanding of IT security as it applies to DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices.

- Administer, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Define and enforce security best practices across development and deployment environments.

- Automate infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Monitor systems performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues.

- Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure safe and secure deployments.

- Implement security controls such as least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring.

- Conduct risk assessments and recommend enhancements to improve overall DevOps security posture.

- Stay current with AWS updates and security trends to proactively enhance systems.

Required Qualifications :

- B/Tech/BE/MCA

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

- Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure management.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools : Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

- Solid understanding of IT security principles, especially in DevOps environments (e.g., IAM, secrets management, network security, vulnerability management).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.

- Familiarity with log aggregation, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

- Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).

- Background in software development or SRE.

- Experience with GitOps practices.
