We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code, automation, scripting, and modern CI/CD ecosystems. This role is part of an advanced cyber security engineering team building next-generation digital platforms that support secure, scalable, and AI-augmented capabilities. The ideal candidate brings hands-on engineering proficiency, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to drive automation at scale across cloud infrastructure, observability, security, and developer workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Platform Engineering :

- Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure aligned with security, scalability, and high availability principles.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or equivalent tools.

- Define cloud architecture patterns, reusable modules, and automation frameworks to accelerate environment provisioning.

Automation, Scripting & Tooling :

- Develop automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, and Bash for infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.

- Build end-to-end IaC pipelines integrating linting, policy checks, testing, and deployment automation.

- Automate environment validation, drift detection, and lifecycle management of cloud assets.

CI/CD & DevOps Enablement :

- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus, or other enterprise tooling.

- Integrate automated quality gates, secrets management, security scans, and compliance checks into pipelines.

- Improve developer productivity through optimized build, release, and environment automation.

Observability & Reliability :

- Automate the ingestion and correlation of logs, metrics, and traces using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK/Opensearch.

- Build dashboards, alerting rules, and reliability automation to maintain platform health and performance.

- Implement monitoring-as-code and ensure observability standards across all deployed services.

AI-Driven Engineering & Emerging Tech :

- Work with GenAI models, agents, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations to power automation, diagnostics, and developer tooling.

- Evaluate and integrate AI-based observability or security enhancements into the platform.

- Collaborate with ML and Cyber Security teams to enhance platform intelligence and decision automation.

Platform Security & Compliance :

- Implement cloud security controls, IAM best practices, encryption standards, and network security patterns.

- Automate compliance enforcement and continuous security assessments within the platform.

- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to integrate zero-trust principles, threat detection, and policy automation.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, architecture, and deployment workflows.

- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash for automation and tooling.

- Practical experience with IaC frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.

- Working knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Octopus.

- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.

- Experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and monitoring automation.

- Ability to design, deploy, and maintain automation at scale across cloud environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to GenAI models, agent-based automation, and MCP frameworks.

- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).

- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and automated compliance tooling.

- Experience building internal developer platforms, self-service environments, or cloud landing zones.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles.

- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator) preferred.

- Demonstrated experience in building automation-first, secure, and resilient cloud platforms.
