Platform Architect - DB/Amazon Athena

Job Description :

Educational Qualification :

- BE / B.Tech, M/M.Tech or M. Sc. in Computer Science from Tier 1 university

Skill Set :

- 10+ years of experience in end-to-end software development and system architecture, preferably in a product development organisation

- Hands-on experience in Java and Big Data tech stack Apache Pinot/Druid/Hudi, HDFS, Hive, Presto, Flume, Storm, Kafka, Spark, NO-SQL databases is a must.

- Hands-on experience in working on high-volume and low-latency data Platforms for real-time analytics

- Well familiar with Parallel computing, In-memory computing, cache management and resource optimisation techniques

- Hands-on experience with SQL programming, predicate pushdown, Partitioning, Broadcast join, hash-join, indexing, data caching and query persistence

- Hands-on experience in building SQL apps on TB data at scale

- Hands-on experience with any MPP query engine Athena, Presto is a big Plus

- Validated software engineering experience and discipline in design, test, source code management, and CI/CD practices
