Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and technically strong Senior Software Test Engineer Automation to take full ownership of automation delivery across all projects in our organization.

This is a critical leadership role in QA automation, ideal for a technologist who can architect, deliver and govern scalable automation solutions across multiple technology stacks.

You will design, implement and maintain robust automation frameworks, while acting as the go-to authority for automation strategy, governance and delivery excellence. This role requires collaboration across global teams and demands a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design/re-design and architect scalable automation frameworks across Web, API and Desktop applications (using tools such as Selenium, QFTest, Katalon, RestSharp).

- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to define automation strategy, identify automation candidates and plan coverage.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, quality ownership, and continuous learning.

- Continuously evaluate new tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance test efficiency and reliability.

- Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track automation ROI, coverage, and stability.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain automation suites to ensure quick feedback cycles in CI/CD pipelines.

- Participate in sprint planning, release readiness, and provide early feedback on quality risks.

- Serve as a subject matter expert in automation, offering strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of QA experience, with at least 5 years hands-on in Selenium Java automation and recent experience in an architect or framework owner role.

- Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks across multiple technologies.

Strong hands-on skills with :

- Automation tools: Selenium, QFTest, Katalon Studio, RestSharp (API automation).

- Programming languages: Java or C# (both preferred).

- Databases: SQL (Postgres) for test data validation.

- Agile practices: Scrum, BDD, TDD.

- Demonstrated ability to lead automation delivery independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills with the ability to review logs, diagnose failures, and propose effective solutions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across distributed global teams.

Desired Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with Playwright or other modern automation frameworks.

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, BitBucket, AWS Code Commit).

- Exposure to microservices, cloud platforms, or data validation test strategies.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
