Responsibilities :

- Serve as the technical manager and authority over multiple development teams, initiating organization-level initiatives and driving team or product imperatives with full ownership.

- Accountable for architectural decisions and development of features, including the integration of Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and Agentic AI capabilities into products.

- Create a technical vision and strategy for the organization that aligns with business objectives and incorporates advanced AI-driven innovations.

- Lead discussions and decisions on design, architecture, processes, and development, ensuring the inclusion of cutting-edge AI technologies.

- Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments within an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Develop processes, mechanisms, and tools that enhance the delivery of programs, especially those involving ML and AI-driven features.

- Own all operational metrics and provide support for the software developed by your teams, with a focus on innovation and quality.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including product management and executive teams, to define strategy and requirements for AI-enhanced products.

- Effectively manage ambiguity and competing priorities while staying focused on both short-term and long-term goals.

- Drive continuous improvements in software engineering practices, particularly in areas related to AI and ML development, across engineering teams.

- Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach software development engineers at various experience levels to build a team capable of delivering innovative AI-driven solutions.

- Earn trust through regular communication with senior management on status, risks, and change control, demonstrating a commitment to delivering transformative AI-enhanced technologies.

Skill & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or related field

- A minimum of 10 years of progressive application development

- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in web application development using Ruby on Rails (RoR), JavaScript, JQuery, ReactJS, and MySQL, with a proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions integrating Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and Agentic AI features to elevate product capabilities and performance.

- 2+ years of management/leadership experience in software development

- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud

- Strong technical thinking and demonstrated ability to lead software design and coding

- Polished communication skills, broad technical knowledge, and high self-confidence

- Ability to demonstrate and lead others in sound software development practices and techniques

- Working knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, Docker, GitHub and overall Devops experience

Job Outcomes Quantitative KPIs (first 6 months) :

- Learn the Products and Deep dive into the relevant Technologies and implementation
