Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated PL/SQL Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Pune or Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing robust PL/SQL solutions to support our critical business applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and efficient data operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Translate complex business requirements into efficient and scalable PL/SQL solutions.

Performance Optimization :

- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing PL/SQL code and SQL queries.

- Conduct thorough performance tuning and query optimization to ensure optimal database performance.

- Utilize Oracle tools and techniques for performance monitoring and analysis.

Collaboration and Requirements Gathering :

- Collaborate effectively with business analysts, solution architects, and other development teams to understand and interpret complex business requirements.

- Participate in design discussions and provide technical insights to deliver effective solutions.

Data Management :

- Handle data migration, transformation, and integration processes using PL/SQL.

- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across various systems.

Support and Troubleshooting :

- Provide timely and effective production support for existing SQL and PL/SQL-based applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance problems.

Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed PL/SQL code, procedures, and database designs.

Required Skills :

- PL/SQL Expertise : Strong command over PL/SQL programming, including extensive experience with stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Oracle Database : Proven experience with Oracle Database versions (11g/12c/19c).

- Performance Tuning : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques (e.g, explain plan, AWR reports, indexing strategies).

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points For :

- Agile Methodologies : Exposure to and practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Unix/Linux Shell Scripting : Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and job scheduling.

- Other Programming Languages : Basic understanding or exposure to Java or other programming languages.

- Data Warehousing/ETL : Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools
