Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Oracle Forms and Reports in line with business requirements.

- Work on application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance optimization of existing Oracle-based systems.

- Develop, modify, and maintain database objects such as procedures, functions, packages, triggers, record groups, constraints, and indexes.

Utilize various Oracle Forms components including :

- Triggers

- Events

- Canvases

- Master-detail forms

- Built-in functions

- Object properties

- Record groups

- Write complex and efficient SQL queries using analytical and aggregate functions to support reporting and data processing requirements.

- Develop robust PL/SQL components with strong implementation of:

- Procedures and functions

- Packages

- Cursors

- Collections

- Exception handling

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver scalable solutions.

- Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot application issues, and provide production support when needed.

- Maintain documentation including technical specifications, solution designs, and code-level reference material.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports development.

- Excellent command over SQL and PL/SQL concepts including query tuning and optimization.

Proficiency in :

- Analytical and aggregate SQL functions

- Stored procedures, functions, and packages

- Cursors, collections, exception handling

Solid understanding of :

- Data types

- Constraints

- Indexes

- Database structures

- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.

- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Exposure to JavaScript and ReactJS for UI enhancements and modernization of legacy Oracle applications.

- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
